On the homepage of my new Family Tree PHP website, I read ‘Replace this with your own text’. How can I do this?

Go to your Dashboard and then to Settings. Then in the menu, click on ‘Texts’. Now you see a list of texts you can edit: for the home page, for the registration page, for the approve email, for the comment page and for the contact page.

You really have to edit these texts. Otherwise your visitors too will see “Replace this with your own text.” Or when you approve a new user, they get an email saying: “Text for the email to a new user when his account is activated. Replace this with your own text.” And you don’t want that, do you?

To edit a text, just click on the edit link. Now you get a form where you can edit this text.
