How do I get my Family Tree PHP website in Google and other search engines?

In order to get your website listed in Google and other search engines, these search engines have to find your website. That means that there must be links to your website somewhere on the internet on other websites. You can start by filling out the ‘List your site’ form to get your site listed here. And you can submit your Gendex file to FamilyTreeSeeker.com to get your site listed (and indexed) there as well. Then you can search for other websites where you can submit your link.

You can also submit the xml sitemap of your Family Tree PHP installation via Google Webmaster Tools, but for new sites, this is not recommended.
