Some bugs fixed in version 0.6

Tuesday, August 10th, 2010

It appears that by mistake some javascript files that were meant for the upcoming beta version have been put into version 0.6d and 0.6e, causing problems with some ajax functions, like approving/deleting users and comments. You could still approve or delete users and comments, but only in a more complicated way.

1 bug fixed in version 0.6

Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010

Sorry, but there was still a bug left to be fixed in version 0.6. If you were running PHP 5.3 or higher, the check for jpg-support failed. This is very annoying of course, because it means you installation will not handle jpg files and will not show any jpg pictures. But because not many users are using PHP 5.3 yet, this bug got unnoticed untill now.

Several bugs fixed in version 0.6 beta

Saturday, July 24th, 2010

There are several bugs fixed in version 0.6:

  1. Context menus did not disappear when the cursor left the link.
  2. Hyperlinks could not be saved as multimedia items.
  3. On some servers unnecessary error messages were stored in the error report.
  4. New approved users got an email in the admin’s language, not in their own language.
  5. Some boxes that should not be cached, were sometimes cached.
  6. Some minor bugs in the blog module.

A new corrected version (0.6c) is now available for download. I hope these will be the last bug fixes for this version. If so, then this version will be labled as the stable release for version 0.6 next week.

If you have version 0.6, 0.6a or 0.6b, you only have to upload the changed files:

  • /core/addmedia.php
  • /core/addpost.php
  • /core/ajaxapproveuser.xml.php
  • /core/approveuser.php
  • /core/editmedia.php
  • /core/editpost.php
  • /core/event.php
  • /core/post.php
  • /includes/boxes/history.php
  • /includes/boxes/lastcomment.php
  • /includes/boxes/posts.php
  • /includes/boxes/randommedia.php
  • /includes/errors.php
  • /includes/functions.php
  • /js/context.js

If you still have an older version than 0.6 and want to update, you will have to do a full update.

Note that the version number of your installation will still say “0.6”, even if you do a full update to version 0.6c.

1 bug fixed in version 0.6 beta

Monday, July 5th, 2010

There is another bug fixed in version 0.6:

  1. A database query error occurred when searching families and using the ‘begins with’ method on the husband’s surname.

A new corrected version (0.6b) is now available for download.

If you have version 0.6 or 0.6a, you only have to upload the changed file:

  • /includes/searchfamilies.php

If you still have an older version than 0.6 and want to update, you will have to do a full update.

Note that the version number of your installation will still say “0.6”, even if you do a full update to version 0.6b.
